Baytowne Hyundai first opened its doors for business in 1991. Since then the dealership has grown to become the largest Hyundai dealer facility in Ontario and a winner of Hyundai Canada's prestigious President's Award of Merit 10 times. Baytowne Hyundai started business on Bradford Street in downtown Barrie "by the bay" but within 10 years it was evident that it was reaching the capacity of its existing facility. The search was on to locate land that would provide the space needed for the next 25 years of the dealership's growth. In 2002 the dealership purchased a 5 acre parcel of land located on Mapleview Drive in the south end of Barrie and started to design its new home. By the end of 2004, Baytowne had moved into the largest, best equipped Hyundai dealer facility in Ontario. Through out the design process the emphasis was placed our relationship with our customer. We built a comfortable customer lounge with a fireplace and large plasma TV. The dealership provides free coffee, cookies and fruit in the lounge. This Internet Café is fully equipped for computer connection both direct and wireless. Located near the Café is "Kiddie's Korner" where kids can play and have fun all fully visible to their parents. Bad weather days are no longer a problem with our drive in service reception area. All this is combined with a beautiful 12 car showroom and a facility that was one of the first built to the new Hyundai Canada Image Program standards.
